I remember the first skateboard came to Malmesbury in 1975 when the Healy family returned to the UK from a few years in Australia. For 33 years Malmesbury has been waiting for a skateboard park, now eventually they have this one piece down at the youth club where its locked away behind railings all year round and through the summer holidays, availible for use by a few for a couple of hours an evening on youth club nights. Wow what spendid progress, a life-time and you missed it as did six generations of Malmesbury teenagers. Alas the three Healy boys are all now dead.
